Front of House Manager

Job Description:

The Front of House Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of Musette restaurant including creating a positive work environment emphasizing a relaxed and refined dining experience and creating a pristine restaurant appearance. They are responsible for directing the front of house staff and reporting to their superior regularly. The Front of House Manager shall:

*Responsible for leading and training a team to create a relaxed fine dining experience

*Work closely with back of house team to create and execute a seamless restaurant experience for Musette guests

*Manage a team of front of house staff including scheduling, training, and general supervision

*Oversee that all opening and closing preparations are done to a specific standard with regards to timeliness and cleanliness

*Responsible for POS system and its correct function

*Balancing all cash drawers and POS information and closing restaurant

*Monitor inventory and maintenance of FOH mise en place

*Provide superb customer service to guests and become the face of Musette restaurant

*Enforce and monitor all health, safety, and sanitation standard

Job Specifications:

*3+ years restaurant experience, preferably fine dining

*Excellent leadership skills and customer service

*Organized and capable of multi-tasking

*Good knowledge of food and beverage

*Knowledge of Square POS or similar software

*High standards for personal hygiene and appearance

*Serve Safe training preferred

Kitchen Manager/Chef

 

Job Description:

The Kitchen Manager will work regularly with the Executive Chef to produce consistent and delicious food. It is his/her responsibility to take leadership of the BOH team and create an
informative and productive work environment.

Secure a positive and steady position working with a group of young entrepreneurs
looking to grow together.

Potential to creatively contribute to the group and benefit as a team.

The Kitchen Manager/Chef shall:
*Manage all activities of the kitchen including food preparation, scheduling, training,
and general supervision
*Ensure efficient, cost-effective operations
*Supervise all preparation and cooking equipment on a regular basis to ensure they are
kept clean, sanitary, and in operating order
*Ensure that food products, preparation, and plating are of the highest quality and are
prepared in a timely manner
*Adhere to all standards of food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation
*Monitor holding and storage operation of kitchen products
*Assure kitchen staff is always clean and sanitary
*Finish inventory and ordering daily
* Assist in menu development and preparation
* Create and execute prep lists for restaurant and catering functions

Job Specifications:

*2+ years in the restaurant industry, fine dining preferred
*Leadership skills
*A strong base of culinary knowledge including ingredients, preparation, and service
*Attentive to detail
*Ability to communicate clearly with teammates and superiors
*Possess industry standard knife skills
*Physical and mental stamina
*Adaptation to different work atmospheres
*Serve Safe certified
